Step 1

Emergency Contact

When you call Palm Restore, we connect you with one of our local project managers who come to you immediately. Once on the scene, they will guide you through the process and answer your questions.
Step 2

Inspection & Water Damage Emergency Plan

Our project manager and team will assess the damage and create a plan so we can start mitigating any further water damage to your structure and its contents.
Step 3

Water Removal/Water Extraction

When we encounter structures that have extensive water damage, we use our truck mounts along with our remote-controlled water extraction rover to extract the water.
Step 4

Packout/Cleaning/Storage

After the initial water removal, we can bring your items to an onsite location — or to our secure warehouse — where they stay until repairs are completed. We may also be able to use a secure and dry location onsite if requested. We also clean any salvageable water damaged items before securely storing them.
Step 5

Drying Equipment & Dehumidifiers

We bring in professional grade dehumidifiers to remove moisture from salvageable materials, as well as commercial air movers to help with evaporation. We also have systems that can save your wood floors and dry out the cavities of walls and ceilings without completely demolishing the materials.
Step 6

Testing

Before removing any material that has the potential to come back positive for asbestos such as drywall, joint compound or vct tile, we test for asbestos to ensure everything is handled safely.  If an asbestos test comes back positive, we hire a third party abatement company to remove the affected material before proceeding with demolition.
Step 7

Demolition

Final demolition takes place after the asbestos test results have come back negative, or after the abatement has been completed if the test was positive.
Step 8

Dry Out Completion

At this stage, your structure has been monitored daily until moisture levels are no longer elevated. It’s also when our team removes the equipment and containment.
Step 9

Restoration

This is the last phase of the process, but often the longest one. During this time, we work with you as our team starts the repairs that were agreed upon by you, your insurance company, and us.  We strive to maintain open communication and provides as much information as possible to our customers when changes or delays do occur.

Sewer Damage Restoration

Sewer damage is a serious issue that can carry dangerous viruses and pathogens, and we take the restoration process very seriously.

Our team is fully suited up when we arrive at your structure. First, we do a preliminary spray to kill any bacteria. We then remove the liquid sewage and properly dispose of it. Finally, we clean up and spray again to mitigate any odors, so you have not only a clean, but a clean-smelling, safe abode to return to.

If the sewage has come into contact with any of the contents within the structure, the general rule is to throw it away unless it must be saved. But we can assess that on an individual basis.

Restoration Project Reviews

We have successfully completed over 2000 projects.

We had a water leak in the roof and it was pretty extensive. Caleb and his crew stepped in, assessed the damage and went right to work with the cleanup. They were kind, professional and took the time to explain the process and approximately how much it would cost. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Palm Restore for your home or business.

If you need a great team of guys, who work quickly and efficiently to get things done, Palm Restore is definitely my first option. We had our flooring in the back of our house flood. Babies nursery, closet, laundry room all had the floor flooded. We contacted Palm Restore and they were able to come the next day to diagnose the problem and get started. Not only did they quickly fix and solve the problem, they’re a great bunch of guys. I’m a stay at home Mom and I’m home by myself with my son all day. These guys made me feel comfortable with them coming into my home. Great service and professionalism! Caleb and Dan are quick to answer any questions you might have, and fix any issue that arises while they’re working the job. Donald put the flooring in, and was very efficient with his time. I loved their work so much, I asked them to do my whole front living room, and it looks amazing! Thank you so much Palm Restore!

I had a water line breach in my kitchen that flooded the entire area. Palm Restore came in the very next day and surveyed the damage. Entire kitchen needed replaced. It was a very frustrating process between getting insurance adjusters (we went through 2 of them) to give us payout and waiting for materials due to Covid delays. 6 months later PI crew was able to begin the rebuilding. The crew, led by Dan, came in and did a beautiful job. They came right after the initial incident and set up a "camp kitchen" for me which allowed me to remain in my home with a functioning meal prep area for 6 months. Once all the materials and supplies came in they were quick to work and got a completely new kitchen installed in 4 weeks. From floors, walls, cabinets, counters, sink and backsplash it all came together beautifully. My landlord and I are VERY pleased.

On a scale of 1-10, this company deserves a 20! While trying to settle my dad's estate down in Brookings, a hot water pipe broke and flooded his house. Andrew and this company did an amazing job in restoring my father's house. It was a lot of work! I was feeling extremely overwhelmed, but they really helped to relieve all the stress and worry during the whole process from the very beginning and through to the end! All of the folks at Palm Restore were so wonderful to work with. Andrew, Jessica, Joey, Tony and the rest really know their stuff! Words alone really cannot express how grateful we are for everything they have done for us! If you are needing any job done, I will HIGHLY recommend this company to get the job done for you. They are absolutely wonderful!!

Water damage due to leaking roof and sunroom windows, which soaked carpeting and stored items. Black mold was present. Two very pleasant and hard working young men practiced Hazmat protocol and removed all items from the room and treated the room for mold, etc.
