Palm Restore will remediate the mold from your structure, per the IICRC 520 Standards. Our team is certified by the IICRC for mold remediation, so we have the knowledge and experience to execute mold remediation effectively and efficiently.

Our team goes in and contains the mold, using containment systems and our HEPA500 machines. This filters out the air and doesn’t disturb mold spores or allow them to spread into other non-affected areas. We can also cut out the impacted area and use mold-killing and stain removing products.

Additionally, if you have items impacted by mold, our team can run those through our ultrasonic cleaning process.

Step 1

Emergency Contact

The restoration process begins when you contact Palm Restore. We’ll get initial information on your loss, dispatch our Project Manager to assess the damage and prepare a team with proper tools and equipment.

Step 2

Mold Inspection and Testing

Our Project Managers will carefully inspect affected areas of your property to determine the extent of mold damage. We can also do mold testing with air sampling along with other methods which may include thermal imaging and moisture detection meters.

Step 3

Mold Containment

Our team uses containment procedures to prevent the spread of mold. We may also use negative air chambers, air scrubbers and dehumidifiers to help with the filtration of air and drying out of wet areas where mold is present. All fans and heating and cooling systems in affected areas will be turned off or sealed to prevent secondary contamination in non-affected areas.

Step 4

Air Filtration

We use powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of mold spores while the mold remediation is in process. HEPA vacuums are used to remove surface level mold spores and any spores that are not captured in the HEPA vacuums will be circulated and caught in the Air Scrubber filtration system.

Step 5

Mold Removal

The remediation process depends on the quantity of mold growth and the type of material or surface the mold appears. We use antimicrobial treatments to kill mold and to help prevent new mold growth from forming. Removing and disposing of mold-infested porous materials may be necessary due to how much mold growth is in the porous material.

Step 6

Cleaning and Sanitizing

We will clean all the restorable items and structures that were damaged by the mold using a variety of cleaning techniques to restore your property belongings to pre-mold condition. We also use equipment to remove odors using industrial air scrubbers and fogging equipment along with deodorization chambers at our warehouse.

Step 7

Contents Storage

After all your contents have been cleaned, they are stored at our secure storage warehouse in specifically marked vaults where they will stay safe and clean until all the repairs at your property have been completed.

Step 8

Restoration

This often the longest phase of the process. During this time, we work with you as our team starts the repairs that were agreed upon by you, your insurance company, and us. We strive to maintain open communication and provides as much information as possible to our customers when changes or delays do occur.

Step 9

Pack Back of Belongings

The final step is packing back all your household or business belongings after all repairs have been completed.
