Step 1
Emergency Contact
The restoration process begins when you contact Palm Restore. We’ll get initial information on your loss, dispatch our Project Manager to assess the damage and prepare a team with proper tools and equipment.
Step 2
Emergency Board-Up and Roof-Tarp Service
Where needed, we will secure your structure by boarding up missing windows and walls and placing tarps on damaged roofs.
Step 3
Inspection and Fire Damage Assessment/Asbestos Testing
Our Project Manager will carefully inspect affected areas of your property to determine the extent of the fire, smoke and soot damage. This is the time where we will also call for asbestos sampling of damaged/affected building materials, per state regulation.
Step 4
Water Removal and Drying (if water damage is present)
Almost immediately, our team will begin the process of removing the water that was used to put out the fire. After a truck mount extraction of the water, we use dehumidifiers and air movers to complete the drying of wet material to normal levels.
Step 5
Pack Out and Structure Clean
We start out with bringing in our contents team to inventory, box up and pack out damaged personal items we call contents. We bring your smoke damaged contents to our secure and clean warehouse. After the pack out we go into the structure and use specialized equipment, chemicals, and techniques to remove smoke and soot from all affected surfaces.

Contents Cleaning and Deodorization
Our team will clean all the restorable items that were damaged by the fire. We use a variety of cleaning techniques to restore your property belongings to pre-fire condition, including our state-of-the-art Fireline Ultra-Sonic System and electronic cleaning stations. We also use specific rooms and equipment to remove odors using industrial air scrubbers and fogging equipment along with deodorization chambers at our warehouse.
Step 7
Contents Storage
After all your contents have been cleaned, they are stored at our secure storage warehouse in specifically marked vaults where they will stay safe and clean until all the repairs at your property have been completed..
Step 8
Restoration
This often the longest phase of the process. During this time, we work with you as our team starts the repairs that were agreed upon by you, your insurance company, and us. We strive to maintain open communication and provides as much information as possible to our customers when changes or delays do occur.
Step 9
Pack Back of Belongings
The final step is packing back all your household or business belongings after all repairs have been completed. This is the end of our journey with you, and we strive to end each journey with our customer relieved and ready to move back into their home or business and onto their next season worry free!
