Dealing with a disaster is the last thing most people want to do.

That's where we come in. Check out some of our most frequently asked questions.

I came home and there is water all over the floor. What should I do now?

What is mitigation?

Does Palm Restore work with my homeowner’s insurance?

Yes! We work with all major insurance carriers. Throughout the entire process, we will work alongside your insurance company to help get your property restored without you, the homeowner, having to manage the project on your own. We function as your liaison to the insurance company to ensure solid communication and maximum coverage by your carrier. We work for you, the homeowner!

Is Palm Restore able to do my repairs after everything is cleaned up and dried out?

Insurance wants to use another company on their “preferred contractor” list. Do I have to use them?

How long will this all take?

It depends on many factors. Each loss is unique and comes with their own set of challenges. We can begin mitigation work immediately in the event of an emergency, but structural repairs will not begin until we have an agreed upon scope of work and costs with your insurance company. This ensures that the homeowner is not stuck with surprise out-of-pocket expenses and that our work is being fully covered by your insurance company. Projects can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to several months depending on loss type and size.
